I couldn't believe it. President Obama gave his economic hoorah from Catholic Georgetown University.....oh, but could you remove the Jesus symbols first?
People, please. If Obama wanted to give a speech with a secular background, he would have given it from the White House. He showed how fast and how easy it was for him to get people of faith (we would assume) to deny their God. Guess they felt that rubbing elbows with the prez was worth shrouding those signs of Catholicism for the press.
I forwarded the article to the Pope - I hope he gives them a really really stiff penance - they deserve it.
